| GHCA Official: GHCA General Membership Meeting |
|
The first GHCA meeting of 2008 will be held at 7:30PM on January 3rd. County Commissioner Ann Hildebrand will install the GHCA Officers and Directors for 2008. There will also be a vote on a Proposed Change to the ByLaws. Prior to the General Meeting there will be an Installation Dinner and everyone is invited.

TO DISCUSS RECOMMENDATIONS

Range Planning Committee
Presents Initial Recommendations
 On
Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2006, Joe Detrano, Chairman of the Long Range
Planning Committee (LRPC), addressed the Board of Directors,
presenting to the Board his committee's first set of findings.
Topics addressed include: Financial Transparency, Long Term
Viability of GHCA, Florida Statute for Liquidation Plan, Security,
Conflict of Interest, and Role of Board Members. The
Committee's letter detailing these issues is included below.

GHWA - Official
Members
of the Gulf Harbors Civic Association have been offered discounts by a
number of participating local businesses. The specific discounts vary
by merchant, e.g., 5%-50% discount on certain purchases, kids eat free
on a certain day, etc. Individual businesses should be contacted
directly for details. A valid GHCA membership card must be presented in
order to be eligible for these discounts. 
GHCA
Vice President Frank Bifulco announced a "corporate
membership" deal with Gold's Gym
at the February General Membership Meeting. GHCA members will
receive discounts on monthly membership, reduced and/or waived sign-up
fees, and other financial perks. "This is the first of many such
opportunities that we want to offer GHCA members," remarked Frank. 
Gulf
Harbors Civic Association Office will be closed Friday, April 14, 2006 due
to the resealing of the parking lot. The parking lot itself will be
closed to all traffic Friday, April 14, Saturday,
April 15, and Sunday, April 16.
